Refrigerated Drugs
Safecor Health absolutely will repackage refrigerated items for your hospital. We store them in climate monitored refrigerators and ship them in insulated boxes with cold packs, according to industry and regulatory standards & requirements. Refrigerated drugs must be packed with cold packs at the wholesaler or hospital and sent to Safecor Health by overnight shipment. Upon receipt at Safecor Health, the drugs will be stored in our commercial refrigerators; prepackaged; packed with cold packs, and returned to the hospital via overnight shipment. |

Scheduled Medications
Safecor Health does prepackage Scheduled II – V medications for your convenience. Your wholesaler CAN ship Schedule III through V items directly to Safecor Health through your Bill To/Ship To account. For CII medications, pharmacies must complete DEA Form 222 to transport the Scheduled II drugs to SAFECOR HEALTH, and a second DEA Form 222 to transport the drugs back to your facility. The CII drugs must be delivered directly from your hospital since your wholesaler is restricted by Federal Law from shipping CIIs to SAFECOR HEALTH on your behalf. Note: Some States have further restrictions, therefore, it is important to check with your State Board of Pharmacy to determine if any special State licensure is required for you to ship Schedule II drugs. |

Light Sensitive Drugs
Safecor Health repackages light sensitive drugs. Our packaging materials meet or exceed the standards stated in chapter 661 of the USP, and are QC tested, validated and tracked throughout our manufacturing processes. |

Cytotoxic Drugs
Safecor Health repackages cytotoxic drugs. Safecor Health does repackage cytotoxic medications and we utilize the required procedures to handle, repackage and ship cytotoxic medications. |

Custom Products
Safecor Health assembles custom kits and drug packets for many of our customers. Heparin kits that include a syringe, smoking cessation packets for outpatient centers, and many other customized services are available upon request. If you don’t see what you need, please ask our very knowledgeable sales and customer service team to assist you. In addition, our pharmacy services team can help customize unique products and package sizes to fit into your hospital’s automated dispensing cabinets (McKesson, Omnicell, Pyxis, etc.). |
