How do I get started with Safecor Health?

Ordering and repackaging with Safecor Health is easy! Follow these simple steps below to get started:
  1. Contact Safecor Health to obtain your customer account setup paperwork and basics for getting started. We will need your completed setup paperwork, DEA and State Board of Pharmacy licenses.
  2. Once we receive your paperwork, you’ll need to contact your wholesaler representative to establish a bill to/ship to ordering account on your wholesaler’s ordering system. Be sure to request GPO/WAC/340B accounts as needed.
  3. Work with our sales and implementation teams to ensure we have the repackaging formats, dosage sizes for oral liquids, and bar code content your pharmacy needs for the specific NDCs your pharmacy will order and repackage. We can also help your pharmacy establish a packaging formulary.
  4. Place your first order! The transition to placing an order with Safecor Health versus placing your usual orders is simple. Safecor Health works closely with all major wholesalers to allow your pharmacy to place orders directly through your wholesaler ordering platform.

How do I place an order with Safecor Health?

Safecor Health makes repackaging easy by directly integrating the repackaging process into the hospital pharmacy’s supply chain.

  1. The hospital orders the medication through their regular wholesaler ordering platform on their Safecor Health repackaging account.
  2. The wholesaler delivers the bulk medications to Safecor Health the next day.
  3. Safecor Health repackages the hospital’s order according to their specific needs. To ensure the highest level of quality, each drug repackaged into unit-dose is quality-control checked multiple times during the repackaging operation.
  4. The repackaged medications are shipped from Safecor Health directly to the hospital pharmacy, ready to dispense.
